Scottish satanist EDWARD CROWEFOOT 1842-1901 was a real historical figure often referred to at the end of his life as ‘the most evil man in the world’. The Crowefoot Mysteries by Richard Montgomery are novels based on the less well-known, earlier period of his life. Historical research has shown that he was secretly involved in several criminal cases and scandals as a young man. The novels The Drowning Party and The Silk Noose are dramatic retellings of those real-life events.
